FLA:  This week we have been reviewing the passé composé verb tense and learning some new information and exceptions to our knowledge bank (reflexive verbs in the past tense as well as the complément objet direct vs. indirect).  We will continue our work with this next week in order to reinforce our understanding of these new concepts.

Week of Jan. 27

*Please monitor Powerschool since new marks were entered this week. Math : Math : We are completing our unit on equations (Chapter 8) this week. Students will write their test on Thursday. We will start a new chapter next week on proportion and similar shapes. This will be the final chapter before the midterm exam. SS: Secret Path reflexion due for Monday 27. We will finish Chapter 4 on Collective Rights. https://secretpath.ca/ FLA:  We will continue reading and responding to our novel.  There will be a chapter 4-5 reading quiz on Monday, January 27.  As usual, you will be able to use a copy of the novel while responding to this reading comprehension test.  This week we will read chapters 6-7! Week of Dec 2nd

SS: Students have a test on Chapter 2 on Tuesday Dec 3. We are starting chapter 3 on the Charter of Rights. Sciences: Lab report on chemical reactions and Study sheet for theme 3 are due Thursday Dec. 5th. We are working on the atomic models and introducing the periodic table.  Students should spend some time regularly working on their Méga-Résumé. FLA: This week we are continuing with our poetry project while we finish up with book talks.  The poetry project will be due on Wednesday, December 4th!  Be ready to present your poem (either the one you wrote or the one you analyzed) on that day!
